Once you have logged in you are on the “maintain” page. On the left hand side you will find “my pages”. All the pages you have registered will be mentioned here. If you click on one of the pages you will automatically go to that page in “maintenance” mode.
First add a column on the left hand side. To do this click on “add” under maintenance menu. You will then get a form to add a column. Fill everything is as complete as possible. We have filled in the text, my column, under column section and the text, my text that belongs to this column, under the “HTML”section.
Once you have added a column you can fill it with links or edit the links & column. Below we have a short description of the icons.

Tip: When adding a lot of links at once, add the links with “add bulk links” method. Afterwards you can devide the links under the different columns.
Once you have a few links and you wish to delete or edit them, then you can do this with the icons next to the link.

Tip: Always fill in the description under the link. This is positive for search engines.
The title is very important for search engines. The “Metatags” are less important but we would advise to fill them in. The “title” should not be longer than 100 characters. The “Metatags” (description & word search) are not allowed to be longer than 500 characters.
The “header” is very important for search engines. The “header title” and the “header description” is mentioned here. Add a very clear “header title” and “header description” that suites the page. For the people visiting you site it should be clear to them what it is about. This is also relevant for search engines. If you upload an image as “header” us them. If you use a “header image” please keep in mind that the width should be a maximum of 790 pixels en the height 100 pixels. The “footer” could be used to place a counter or maybe promotional materials.
There are 10 standard layouts to choose from for your home page. May you wish to make your own layout than this is possible. When making your own “layout”, you can also use the new layout on all you other pages. A new layout may consist out of a maximum of 8 columns and each column should have the width of 80 pixel. All the columns added up should not be wider than 790 pixels. Every time you add a column you can see how many pixels you have left. Keep this in mind.
If you wish to change the colors, letter type or letter size, do this under “template”. You can use a certain template for more than one page. Please keep in mind that if you change a template use on different pages that you must then change all the pages.
When finished with creating and editing your page, click on “save”. Once this is done you will see you page on the internet. If you click on “result” of “view”, you will go to your internet page. You can also view the page by going to http://yourname.myhomepage.ie.
Where can I change my password and e-mail address?
• Go to “maintain” and click on “my details” and then on “edit”
I received a link suggestion but the link in not online?
• Edit the link and choose “yes” at the option “online”.
